About

"Hopeful future" Social Initiatives public union has been engaged in the protection and promotion of children's rights in Azerbaijan for 27 years and cooperates closely with the Ministry of internal affairs, the State Committee for Family Women and Children Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ombudsman's Office, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, UNICEF, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights,  Various programs of our organization are implemented in partnership with relevant government agencies and cover various regions of the country. Management and coordination of the implementation of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “prevention of violations and neglect among minors”, which entered into force in 2005 by the order of the president of the country, was assigned to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of population. Based on this law, in 2007, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and UNICEF, the “Social Rehabilitation Center for children who have committed crimes and offenses” and the “children's Rights Clinic” were established in Baku, along with the Ministry of Education, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, UNICEF in 2010 and with the support of Azercell Telecom, the The above-mentioned Social Service Centers continue their activities at present.
